The Sikhote-Alin Biosphere Reserve staff have finally got hold of new footage recorded by a trail camera which remained out of reach for a long while due to debris caused by a typhoon. The footage shows tigress Anna Savelyevna with her female cub studying a marked tree. The video is dated 8 October 2016.

Anna Savelyevna is the only Amur tiger who has been captured on film at the specially protected area since the launch of the camera trapping project. The mistress of the reserve is a mother to many cubs: The small cub in the footage is presumably her ninth. Now the little one is about seven months old.
