The Second Russian Geographical Society Festival, held on 30 October in Moscow, featured a tiger’s hour. Young festival goers were treated to interesting facts about the Amur tiger, and played related games and quizzes. The hour presentation dedicated to the rare predator was organised by the Amur Tiger Centre.
The tiger’s hour will be presented again at the main festival location on 1, 4, 7 and 8 November. In addition, visitors will have the chance to draw the Amur tiger on a 3-metre digital screen and take a printed version of the drawing with them.
The Second Russian Geographical Society Festival is being held at the Central House of Artist and will run through 8 November; 7 November has been designated Animal Day. Noted researchers, writers and performers will hold lectures on this day.
