26 August 2019

On 28–29 September 2019, Vladivostok will host the 20th Tiger Day festival. The programme of events is available on the website of the organiser, the Amur Tiger Centre.

Tiger Day in Vladivostok is an environmental festival that has been held in the capital of the Primorye Territory on the last Sunday of September since 2000. It became an official event in 2001. The purpose of the festival is to raise public awareness of protecting wildlife, including the Amur tiger. The event dedicated to the main inhabitant and symbol of Primorye was initiated by writer and hunting expert Vladimir Troynin.
