15 May 2018

Scientists have retrieved photos and footage of Amur tigers taken by trail cameras in the Bolshekhekhtsirsky Nature Reserve in the Khabarovsk Territory. Camera traps installed in the southern part of the reserve near the Zolotoi ranger station captured images of a male tiger from January through April.

According to the scientists, this is one of the tigers who came to the reserve in search of a bride. Previously, tracks of a tigress were found in the same area.

Also, the experts from the research department of the Preserved Priamurye obtained a video of a tiger recorded by camera traps at the border near the village of Kazakevichevo. The animal walked near the village checkpoint.
