On 4 September, a roundtable discussion, as part of the Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok, will address the results of a comprehensive census of the Amur tiger population. The event will be attended by Russian Natural Resources and Environment Minister Sergei Donskoi.

The panelists will sum up the census results and discuss the prospects for the implementation of the Amur tiger preservation strategy in Russia.

The comprehensive census of the Amur tiger and the Far Eastern leopard was conducted in February 2015 on an area of over 150,000 sq km in the Russian Far East.
