Amur tiger photo exhibition to be held at Darwin Museum

9 December 2014

On 16 December, a photo exhibition entitled “Russian Nature and Wildlife” will open at the State Darwin Museum. A part of the exposition will be devoted to the world’s largest predator, the Amur tiger.

Visitors will be shown unique images capturing the life of these animals living in the remotest parts of our country – from Kamchatka in the east to Russia’s westernmost boundaries.

This is the first nationwide photo competition “Russian Nature and Wildlife” organised by the Amur Tiger Centre. Over 2,500 entries have been sent in. The contest’s mission is the protection of nature and conservation of rare animals, including the Amur tiger.

The exhibition will run until 19 January 2015.
