On October 23, the Amur Tiger Centre together with the Far Eastern Federal University’s School of Law will hold a scientific and practical conference on the international and national legal mechanisms of wildlife use and protection as part of the 8th Nature without Borders International Environmental Forum.
The Amur Tiger Centre’s specialists, representatives of the World Wildlife Fund, researchers from specially protected natural areas of the Primorye Territory, Russian and foreign experts in the legal regulation of wildlife protection, and law enforcement officers will discuss improving criminal law concerning the illegal use of wildlife, problems in the fight against rare species trafficking and criminal investigations into illegal hunting, and valuable species production and trafficking.
The conference will be held from 2:30 to 6:30 pm at Lecture Hall No D564, Building D, Far Eastern Federal University. Registration will begin at 2 pm.
