Speaking at a news conference on the results of the APEC Leaders' Meeting, President Vladimir Putin noted that Russia is ready to share its experience in the area of saving endangered species. "Our partners have expressed a serious interest in our wildlife conservation programmes and our projects on saving endangered species, including the Amur tiger, the snow leopard and other animals, which were also discussed here," Mr Putin said.

He also noted that the Russian Federation is ready to share its experience on other important issues with countries of the Asia-Pacific region, including the preservation of biological diversity and efforts to combat the illegal trade in endangered species.
