Russia to help South Korea preserve its tiger population

Russia is ready to share its experience of preserving the population of endangered tigers with South Korean environmentalists, Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Sergei Donskoi told journalists.

 

"We discussed how we will continue sharing experiences in preserving tiger species with our Korean colleagues. Korea is going to develop their tiger population. We have enough experience in this area, and we will send specialists to help them preserve their tiger population," Sergei Donskoi said.

 

The APEC Meeting of Ministers Responsible for Environment was held as part of the APEC Forum in Khabarovsk on July 18, 2012.
