The final events of the My Snow Leopard festival took place on Children’s Day in the village of Shushenskoye with support from the Khakassia regional branch of the Russian Geographical Society.

The staff of the Sayano-Shushensky and Khakassky nature reserves prepared the exhibition titled Russia’s Living Symbols for the festival. The event’s guests viewed unique photos of the snow leopard obtained by photo traps and learned about federal programmes for the conservation of rare animals. The most popular attraction was the trail camera that snapped photos of visitors at the festival.

The best works by participants in the My Snow Leopard festival were on display. The photos were sent in from all over the world. Preliminary results of the contest were also announced during the event.
