Far Eastern leopard film to premiere at Second Russian Geographical Society Festival

6 November 2015

A two-part film, Keepers of Land of the Leopard, will premiere at the Second Russian Geographical Society Festival in Moscow on 7 November, Animal Day.

An Hour of the Far Eastern Leopard will also be held on this day for guests to learn a lot about the world's rarest wild cat. Festival organisers have prepared the animal Twister and other games and quizzes, as well as a photo competition where the guests can upload a photo from the festival to a social network with the hashtag #returnoftheleopard. Festival visitors will also have the chance to try out the role of an inspector at Land of the Leopard National Park and to watch the rare animals in their natural habitat using camera trap videos in a special pavilion near the entrance to the Central House of Artists.

This is the second edition of the Russian Geographical Society Festival in Moscow. Last year, the festival premiered The Far Eastern Leopard: Battle for the Taiga Throne, a film produced by the All-Russia State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company (VGTRK).
