Due to the current stay-at-home order in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the organising committee of the My Snow Leopard festival has extended the deadline for submitting entries until 30 June 2020. On account of the coronavirus risks, the festival’s final ecological forum, which includes an educational tour for the winners, has been postponed indefinitely.

Those wishing to take part in the My Snow Leopard international media wildlife festival can send in their works by email. The purpose of the event is to foster commitment to studying and preserving species.

Entries are being accepted in the following categories: Study Summary, Creative Writing (poems and prose), Video (footage, animation and video clips), Souvenir and Drawing.

The My Snow Leopard festival was established by the Sayano-Shushensky Biosphere Reserve and the Khakassky Nature Reserve in 2013 with support from the Republic of Khakassia’s branch of the Russian Geographical Society. In 2020, the festival events will be organised collaboratively by the Sayano-Shushensky and Khakassky reserves.
