A tour around the Sayano-Shushenskoye reservoir to the Katushka waterfall was organised for the winners of the My Snow Leopard festival. Employees of the nature reserve showed the contest participants the local landmarks and told them about the life and behaviour of the festival’s symbol, the snow leopard. On the way back, the group visited the observation point of the Sayano-Shushenskaya HPP.

The sponsor of the educational tour was the Directorate for Sayan Water Reservoirs Management. The My Snow Leopard festival was established in 2013 by the Sayano-Shushensky Biosphere Reserve and the Khakassky Nature Reserve with the support of the Khakassian branch of the Russian Geographical Society.
