Ichthyander, a male snow leopard residing in the Sayano-Shushensky Biosphere Reserve, was recorded on video in the southern part of the reserve.
The footage shows the animal exploring the terrain, marking the territory and moving on its way. Experts note that Ichthyander roams around the reserve all the time.
In winter, cameras spotted the snow leopard in the northern part of the reserve, but now the male has begun to explore its southern regions. Ichthyander first appeared in the reserve four years ago and got his name for swimming across the Yenisei River, covering a distance of 800 m.
