In the Land of the Snow Leopard is the first film about Sailyugem National Park shot for children as part of the joint project of the national park and Irbis Studio.

Ivan and Svetlana Usanov, the makers of the film, described the life and habits of almost all animals living in the park, such as the argali, Siberian ibex, snow leopard, Pallas’s cat and golden eagle.

“Initially, we had a difficult task: to show the park full of life, in an entertaining and interesting way for children. I think we have managed to do that,” said Valentina Semenchenko, deputy director of Sailyugem National Park.
