The Sayano-Shushensky Biosphere Reserve has marked International Snow Leopard Day, with pupils of the Shushenskoye orphanage as guests.

The celebration programme included several events: the Wild Cats of Southern Siberia tour, the What Do You Know About the Snow Leopard intellectual quiz, and an art workshop.

During the tour, the children learned interesting facts about the rare predator, saw how camera traps work and then watched a film about the snow leopard. At the workshop, everyone was asked to create a snow leopard with paint, glue and coloured sand.
