The My Snow Leopard Festival organised by the Sayano-Shushensky and Khakassky reserves with the support of the Russian Geographic Society, a national non-profit organisation, opened on March 1 in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. The international event seeks to unite wildlife fans and to create conditions to inspire the creativity and the research of authors.

At the festival, plans include holding contests in the following thematic sections: Drawing, Souvenir, Literary Creation, Social Advertising, Choreographic Performance, Theatrical Performance, Vocal and Instrumental Creation, and Research Papers.

The festival's final event will be the My Snow Leopard environmental forum, which will be held on June 5 in the village of Shushenskoye under the motto: "Let's Contribute to Preserving Biodiversity and the Environment." The event has been timed with World Environment Day.
