White whales, dolphins, sea lions, walruses and killer whales will take part in the new circus musical A Midsummer Night’s Dream at Moskvarium on the grounds of VDNKh.
Over 50 performers take part in the show: trapeze artists, acrobats, singers, dancers and synchro swimmers. The audience will be transported to an amazing underwater world by sea animal performances, circus stunts, colourful scenery, 5D effects and large-scale video projections.
“In one of the stunts, Ponchik, the Far Eastern white whale, plays the role of a large white cloud which carries the characters to the Moon. Acting alongside the white whale, are a group of synchro swimmers who have won prizes in national and international competitions,” the Moskvarium press service reports.
The show will run from June until 31 August 2018.
