Wildlife photographer Sergei Gorshkov showed photos of a family of Far Eastern leopards: the female codenamed Leo 99F and her two young cubs.
“Now there are two more Far Eastern leopards! I am observing them and will continue to share images of one of the rarest animals in the world, as well as the unique nature of Land of the Leopard National Park. This work in protected natural areas is vitally important for environmental awareness and hugely benefits reserve management,” Sergei Gorshkov says.
Leo 99F’s cubs are now about one year old, and in six months, they will separate from their mother and venture to explore new areas. Their mother is currently teaching them how to hunt and live an independent life.
Experts at Land of the Leopard will continue to monitor the life of the new spotted family using camera traps and photos taken by tourists and professional photographers visiting the national park.
