While on a working visit to the Far Eastern Federal District, Sergei Ivanov, Chief of Staff of the Presidential Executive Office and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Eurasian Centre for the Study, Preservation and Rehabilitation of the Leopard Population, visited Land of the Leopard National Park in the Primorye Territory.

Mr Ivanov examined typical sites of the Far Eastern leopard's habitat and learnt how this animal is observed using trail cameras.

During a meeting with employees of the park, Mr Ivanov said that the Leopard Land project had contributed to the increase in the Far Eastern leopard's population. He also met with school students who watch over the park's territory as part of an environmental patrol.

Distinguished employees of the park were given honourary certificates from the Presidential Executive Office and gifts.
