The Eurasian Centre for the Study, Preservation and Rehabilitation of the Leopard Population and the Russian Geographical Society sign a cooperation agreement.
Presidential Executive Office Chief of Staff and Chairman of the Board of Trustees at the Eurasian Centre for the Study, Preservation and Rehabilitation of the Leopard Population Sergei Ivanov and Defence Minister and President of the Russian Geographical Society Sergei Shoigu have signed a cooperation agreement on the sidelines of the International Arctic Forum.
Under the cooperation agreement, the Eurasian Centre for the Study, Preservation and Rehabilitation of the Leopard Population and the Russian Geographical Society will implement various projects to cover and promote efforts to study, preserve and rehabilitate the Far Eastern leopard population, to attract public attention to the issue of protecting this rare animal species and to establish expert and volunteer communities.
